Real Estate, Construction, and Business Litigation
With a focus on real estate and business litigation, Georgia Schneider represents clients in a wide range of disputes. Ms. Schneider has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, from commencement and the development and implementation of a discovery plan to achieving a favorable settlement or result at arbitration or trial.
Additionally, as a licensed California real estate broker, Ms. Schneider brings unique insight into the handling of real estate matters. Her legal knowledge and diverse litigation background allow her to achieve exceptional results for clients at arbitration and trial.
Prior to joining Ponist Law Group, P.C., Ms. Schneider was an Associate at Morgan Lewis in Los Angeles. At Morgan Lewis, Ms. Schneider handled complex litigation and class actions in state and federal courts, with an emphasis on commercial disputes, toxic tort claims, and unfair competition and false advertising claims.
Ms. Schneider was an integral member of the legal team that won a complete vindication for a global automobile manufacturer in a complicated civil Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization (RICO) Act case. The legal team not only defeated all claims made by the plaintiff, but also obtained a $2.6 million judgment against the plaintiff. She also achieved favorable results at summary judgment in a complex environmental matter involving alleged groundwater contamination of a site in Southern California.
In addition to graduating Summa Cum Laude from law school, Ms. Schneider served as the Notes and Comments editor for the Southwestern Law Review and was a member of the Interscholastic Trial Advocacy Team.
