Grace Gower is senior counsel with the Ponist Law Group. She has extensive experience in all aspects of litigation, successfully handling cases from pre-lawsuit, to trial and post-trial. She represents a wide range of clients in diverse areas of law with an emphasis in real estate and business disputes.
She has dedicated her practice to civil litigation for over 10 years, primarily involving complex matters, including business disputes, contractual disputes, commercial and residential real estate, and construction matters. She has represented business owners, individuals, property owners (commercial and residential), homeowners associations, developers, general contractors, subcontractors and real estate brokerages and agents. She has also represented both healthcare and corporate clients in the defense of general litigation matters during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. Gower also has experience in defending tort and casualty actions such high-value personal injury actions, wrongful death, motor vehicle, premises liability, elder abuse actions.
Ms. Gower has skillfully defended and prosecuted cases involving business disputes, including breach of contract actions, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud cases. She has obtained favorable judgments for her clients, including arbitration awards, and attorney’s fees awards as a result of her advocacy. She has successfully taken on and settled many cases prior to litigation and at all phases during litigation by using practical and cost-effective alternative dispute resolution options.
Grace Gower received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, San Diego. She received her law degree on scholarship from the University of San Diego School of Law. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Real Property Law Section and Civil Litigation Section. She is fluent in Spanish and enjoys staying active in the legal community.
